Leaders of Suzhou visited and investigated the work of persons with disabilities, and Inclusion Factory was honored to be one of the stops

On the morning of May 12th, Liu Xiaotao, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, visited Inclusion Factory to conduct research on the work of people with disability. He affirmed our efforts in fulfilling social responsibilities and encouraged more enterprises to join the cause of assisting people with disability. As the National Day for Helping People with Disabilities approaches, recently, Liu Xiaotao, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, visited and investigated the work related to people with disability. On behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, he extended sincere greetings to people with disability and their relatives across the city, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the majority of disability workers and people from all walks of life who care about and support the cause of people with disability. He emphasized that we should earnestly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on the cause of people with disability, actively expand employment opportunities for people with disability, provide better care and services for them, and promote the all – round development of the cause of people with disability, so as to make people with disability feel more involved. Huang Aijun, the Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, participated in the research.

Inclusion Factory is a social enterprise that helps people with intellectual disability find employment. Secretary Liu affirmed our practice of actively fulfilling social responsibilities and required relevant departments to provide more support to caring enterprises that assist people with disability in aspects such as market expansion, tax reduction and exemption, and venue leasing.

During the research, Liu Xiaotao, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, pointed out that we should enhance the sense of responsibility and mission in doing a good job in the work of people with disability, actively expand employment and income – increasing channels for families of people with disability, improve the social security system and care service system for people with disability, and strive to improve the service quality in rehabilitation, education, nursing care, and mental health for people with disability. We should also create a strong atmosphere of respecting and caring for people with disability to help them integrate into society and realize their dreams.

This research made us deeply feel the care and attention of everyone towards the disabled group. This recognition is not only an encouragement for the current exploration of Inclusion Factory, but also makes us more determined in our original intention – everyone should have the opportunity to develop their potential and participate in and integrate into society through decent employment.
